Nuneaton and Bedworth are pleased to announce that we have now opened a second phase application period for our Discretionary Grant Scheme for small businesses.
Applications will close on Monday 10 August at 5pm, after which all new applications will be assessed.
This grant funding is for businesses that are not eligible for other support schemes. Businesses which have received cash grants from any central government COVID-19 related scheme are ineligible for funding from the Discretionary Grants Fund.
Such grant schemes include but are not limited to:
- Small Business Grant Fund
- Retail, Hospitality and Leisure Grant
So far 92 of businesses have already been successful in receiving a Discretionary Grant and the Council has paid out £485,000 to date.
Cllr Julie Jackson, Leader of Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council said:
“We are delighted that we are able to open a second phase application period to give small businesses another chance to apply for the Discretionary Grant Scheme. Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council will continue to help businesses retain employment and provide support to get through these challenging circumstances.”
